Short version: we collect as little as we can, we don't run ads, and we never sell your data. Anatomy Lingo is run by [Business name — decide before launch].
What we store
- Your progress (lessons, XP, review schedule) is saved in your browser. If you sign in, a copy is kept on our server so it follows you between devices.
- Your email address, if you sign in or join the launch list. We use it to send sign-in links, receipts and, if you joined the list, the launch announcement.
- Purchases: the plan, amount and date. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
- Problem reports you send about a question, with your email if you're signed in.
- Study activity, if you're signed in: when you were last active and how long you've studied (total time and sessions). It's measured only while the app is open on your screen, and we use it to understand how the course is used. Visitors who aren't signed in are only counted, never identified.
Visit statistics
We count page views and a few actions (such as finishing a lesson) to see what's working. These counts are stored per day with no cookies, no IP addresses and no user IDs. Your browser's "Do Not Track" setting turns them off.
Cookies
One cookie, set only when you sign in, keeps you signed in. Nothing for tracking or advertising.
Who else sees your data
- Stripe, to process payments.
- Our email provider, to deliver sign-in links and receipts.
- Google, only if you choose "Continue with Google": Google tells us your email address and nothing else.
That's it. Data is stored on our own server in the United States.
Your choices
Email us to get a copy of your data or have your account deleted. You can also export or reset your progress yourself in Settings. Anatomy Lingo is meant for students 13 and older.
