Anatomy Lingo is run by [Business name — decide before launch] ("we"). By using anatomylingo.com you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What Anatomy Lingo is

A study aid for Anatomy & Physiology courses. It is not medical advice and not a substitute for your course materials, instructor or textbook. We work hard to keep the content accurate, but we can't promise it is free of errors or that it matches your course exactly. If you spot a mistake, use "Report a problem" on the question and we'll fix it.

Free and paid access

• Units 1–3 and the terminology section are free. The study notes for every unit are free with a free account.
• A paid plan unlocks all units while it is active. Access is for one person. Please don't share your account or copy the content for others.

Subscriptions and automatic renewal

• Monthly and Yearly plans are subscriptions that renew automatically at the price shown at checkout, every month or every year, until you cancel. Your card is charged at the start of each period. Prices include any applicable taxes shown at checkout.
• Cancel anytime online: Settings → Manage billing → Cancel. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. You don't need to contact us to cancel.
• We email you before each yearly renewal, and a receipt after every payment.
• You can switch between Monthly and Yearly at any time in Manage billing. The change is prorated.
• If a renewal payment fails, we retry for a few days and email you. Access continues during that time and stops if the payment can't be collected.
• If we ever change a subscription price, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
• The Founding membership is a one-time payment for lifetime access to the course. It never renews.
• Refunds: see our refund policy. In short, any payment, including a renewal, can be refunded in full within 7 days.

Your account

You sign in with an emailed link or your Google account. Keep access to your email secure; anyone who can open your email can sign in. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

Content and licences

The lessons, questions and notes are ours. Illustrations come from OpenStax and Blausen Medical under Creative Commons licences; see the Image credits page for each source and licence.

Acceptable use

Don't try to break, overload or scrape the site, get around the paywall, or use it for anything unlawful.

Liability

The site is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll say so on the site or by email before it takes effect.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.
